The reason for its popularity is that it thrives In any soil condition and can be grown both indoors as wellas outdoors. Money plant is a flowering plant, but rarely flowers when grown indoors. Money Plant brings positive energy to your home and helps to purify indoor air. In Feng-Shui it is considered as Good Luck plant for prosperity. It is also known as Epipremnum Aureum (Scientific name) and is an evergreen vine. This plant is native to Southeast Asia and New Guinea. It belongs to the Araceae family, which contains more than 100 genera.Money plant is found in various varieties the most common of which are Green, Golden and Variegated.

POTTING DETAILS:

It can prosper in any kind of soil, whether Clay, drought condition soil or soil full of small stones. If planted in apot, then best mix is sandy, peat-moss-based soil and a pot with good drainage. Well drained soil will protect the plant from root rot. If wrapped around a wooden or plastic pole, husk can be used. As it grows up, stems should be tied up till the plant reaches the top progressively. Trim by cutting away dead or overgrown branches or stems of the money plant.If planted as an indoor plant in a glass jar or bottle then fill the bottle more than half. If you are planting it in soil then make a hole in the soil and plant it. 

Watering Details:

If planted in the soil, give time to soil to dry and then water. Do not water excessively, as this will damage roots. Water once every 1- 2 days in summer and 4 -5 days in winter. If placed in hanging basket water has to be given even more frequently. If planted in water, then change the water every 10 days. It prospers in all seasons whether it be rainy season, drought, and any sort of watery condition (hydroponically) ordry condition.
Lightening Requirements :

Indirect sunlight is the best for plant growth. It can be grown indoors as well as outdoors. It also prospers under artificial light. The plant prefers a warm temperature between 15•.30• Celsius. Well-lit places where it receives filtered sunlight is a good spot for Money plants. In casethe sunlight is less, the stems elongate and the spread may be more, and will also start looking lanky. 
PROPAGATIONFERTILIZATION
Plant Reproduction Details:

It is one of the easiest plants to propagate. Propagation is through cuttings. Every leaf has got its own stem and aerial root system. The stem should be cut below the node in as lightly angular fashion with a single leaf and planted in moist soil. The best season for using cuttings is either summer or spring.
Fertilization Details:

Minimal Liquid, Solid, Organic. Money Plant can use almost any type of common fertilizer, from pellets to liquid. Ideally should be nitrate based. A weak solution of liquid fertilizer can beadded into thewater while the pellet is odded to the soil. It canprosper without fertilization but it is better to fertilize twice ayear. Do not add fertilizersjust aer trimming. Always add fertilizers in shade or in the evening.Do not add liquid fertilizer in sunlight, as it can burn leaves.
